Educational Grant Support Info

The Fabry Update Conference is a biennial conference for healthcare professionals and academic researchers specialising (or training to specialise) in Fabry Disease. The Fabry Update Conference forms part of Kidneys for Life charitable objectives.

Kidneys For Life (https://kidneysforlife.org/) is an independent charitable organisation registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales under number 505256

The 2026 Fabry Update Conference will be organized with approximately 150 Face to Face (FTF) participants .

The Fabry Update Conference is funded through unrestricted educational grants.

‘Supporters’ (who provide unrestricted educational grants) will be allocated a defined number of FTF non-commercial participants, as indicated in the table below.  In addition, any employee of the supporter who presents a poster at the meeting will be allocated a FTF registration separate from the supporters FTF participants shown in the table.  These poster presenters will be assessed a registration fee and will not be eligible for a travel bursary. Supporters are encouraged to pre-register for additional employees who are not on the commercial arm of the company. These additional employees will be accommodated as late-registrants on a space available basis. There is no charge to pre-register, but this does not constitute actual registration. Registration is by invitation only.

There will NOT be any opportunities for the Supporters to engage in commercial or marketing activities at the venue (e.g., booths, brochures, exhibits).

While we recognize the need to educate providers about the care and treatment of Fabry patients, this conference is not intended to meet that important educational objective. Experienced providers are encouraged to pre-register, with the expectation that they will fully participate and contribute to the discussions throughout the conference. Each potential participant must personally re-register for consideration.  The fact that a pre-registrant may be supported by a pharmaceutical entity is irrelevant. At the same time, we are not willing to accommodate group registration requests by pharmaceutical agencies or travel agencies.
